AGM of CUET Club held
The Annual General Meeting of CUET Club, a socio-cultural, creative and recreational organization run by the teachers and officers of Chittagong University of Engineering and Technology (CUET) has been completed. At the AGM, responsibilities were handed over to the new committee. Awards were distributed in the ceremony.
The chief patron and Vice-chancellor of CUET Club Dr. Mohammad Rafiqul Alam was present as the chief guest at the award ceremony held at CUET Club Auditorium on Tuesday, 13 February.
The program was presided over by the CUET Club President Professor Dr. Kazi Delwar Hossain. President of the new committee of the Executive Council of 2024-25 Prof. Dr. Md. Mainul Islam delivered his welcome speech. General Secretary Professor Dr. Md. Mamunur Rashid presented the financial statement of the previous year at the same time conducted the event.
Later, prizes were distributed among the winners of various sports events organized by CUET Club. The club champion was the associate professor of mechanical engineering department Md. Aminul Islam.
Pitha Utsab was also organized in the afternoon and colorful programs were organized on the occasion of Basanta Baran at night.
